This original demo recording which has been unreleased for many years is finally available, remastered and rocking like never before! Side A contains a definitive remix done by original line-up guitarist Jim Nickles in his New York City studio, while side B presents the demos in its original form, sound and fierce raw fury.Recorded Sept. 20, 1987 at Select Sound Studios in Kenmore, New York and originally engineered by R. Hobler and Dave Friedmann, this demo presents the first incarnation of the band blending a series of thrash influences together with the primordial death metal spirit which became their sound’s trademark a few years later. The record comes in a 500 copies limited edition, being 350 copies in normal black vinyl, and 150 copies in a special DIE-HARD splatter vinyl edition. Your orders will be shipped from February the 23rd onwards.

[…] Antes de los legendarios thrashers italianos NECRODEATH existió GHOSTRIDER, un nombre que los fans de F.O.A.D. Records deberían conocer… Thrash till Total Death infernal de 1984, recomendado para los maníacos Metal/Punk (esto hace palidecer a TOXIC HOLOCAUST y bandas similares), y a los fans de VENOM, HELLHAMMER, SABBAT(Jpn), los primeros DESTRUCTION y el horror crudo y cabernoso! Esta es la reedición mejorada (y completada) del FOAD 008 10″. Creedlo o no, cuando se editó el 10″ algunos coleccionistas nos contactaron para hacernos saber que tenían copias de la demo de GHOSTRIDER que sonaban mucho mejor que lo que habíamos editado en vinilo (a partir de los masters que tenían los miembros originales de la formación). Así que hicimos una nueva selección a partir de cinco fuentes y volvimos al estudio para obtener una versión final que suena MUCHÍSIMO MEJOR que el 10″ agotado… esta edición no es una versión remasterizada rip-off, porque está enriquecida con una copia de primera generación de las sesiones de ensayo de 1984… ni siquiera el batería original de la banda, Mark Peso, tenía una copia de esto en casa!!! En esta versión mejorada encontraréis temas inéditos y versiones de VENOM y OMEN!! Diez temas en total, el 10″MLP previo sólo tenía 4! Incluye inserto con fotos raras y críticas de fanzines de los ochenta. También tenemos la versión ultralimitada (sólo 150!) en splatter de color naranja.
