ANTISEEN LP and RUPTURE/NERDS CD Exclusive Distribution

FOAD Records has acquired the remaining stock of the ANTiSEEN “Badwill Ambassadors” LP and the RUPTURE/THE NERDS split CD previously released by Italian legendary label Scarey Records.

Scarey records has gone out of business, but has always been some sort of sister label to FOAD and E.U.’91 Serbian league, having shared a good friendship and the online mailorder www.scareystore.com for several years. For these reasons it seemed the right decision to acquire the entire remaining stock of these two releases, keeping them available for retail, trades, and wholesale at very low price.

ANTISEEN “Badwill Ambassadors” LP

For those who still do not know ANTiSEEN, the best description would be a jackhammer of southern punk nihilism straight into your knees. One of the longest running punk bands in the world, ANTiSEEN have burned and bloodied (literally) stages across the world and influenced many bands in the Punk, Sludge and Metal scenes across the world.
“Badwill Ambassadors” is the most solid, controversial, angry album the Boys from Brutalsville released so far: bringing back the fury of “Eat More Possum” and the intensity of “Here to Ruin Your Groove”, it is a total rockin’ mess of black and decker rock and roll from the Kings of Destructo Rock. ANTiSEEN are back to shake your foundations, helped by the Cosmic Commander of Wrestling and the Dean of Sods as Speakers of the House… be prepared to be crushed in the head by a death train of punk rock fury. Song titles like “Weight of the World”, “Alive & Unwell”, “Scapegoat”, “Five Pounds of Shit in Five Pound Bag” should make you realize that the Southern Punk War Machine has still a lot to say, and you better hear it!!

RUPTURE/THE NERDS ROCK INFERNO split CD

This was the final release of infamous Australian band RUPTURE, purveyors of their own and unique demento-grind-punkcore. After their singer Gus Chamber died, these tracks remained unfinished and without vocals in the limbo of punk rawk, until the combined efforts of Scarey Records, The Nerds Rock Inferno and Jeff Clayton of ANTiSEEN brought RUPTURE back from the dead. Vocal duties are equally shared among Clayton and The Nerds’ singer the Boss, and are some of the most punkish, catchy and raw RUPTURE material to date.
On the other hand, The Nerds Rock Inferno, the only Italian band to have shared stages and bonds with the Confederacy of Scum bands, bring forward some of the fastest material among their production. Coming off as an amphetamine version of scum rock, The Nerds could blend the classical rock twang of Motorhead with the excess of scum-tinged hardcore punk. May both bands rest in peace and this release testify an unholy allegiance of kangaroos, spaghetti and possums spanning three continents and unlimited miles of musical mayhem.

Anything else to say?
