BULLDOZER “The day of wrath” and “The final separation” gatefold LPs… preorders are open NOW!

Posted in Bulldozer, Pre Orders, Releases on June 13th, 2016 by foadmaster2022

What’s brewing in FOAD‘s unstoppable cauldron of death for this month? Once again two ageless classics of the rawest and most uncompromised Italian Metal ever conceived… They have been in the pipeline for years and now they are finally ready to be unleashed: we are talking about the ultimate vinyl reissues of the first two BULLDOZER albums, “The day of wrath” (1985) and “The final separation” (1986)!! PRE-ORDERS FOR BOTH START NOW, the official release date is scheduled for June 27th 2016 even if we’ll already have a first ltd batch of copies at this week’s Hellfest Open Air in Clisson, France (that we’ll be attending as usual with our massive record stand in the Extreme Market area). We are glad to keep our legacy with our friends Bulldozer stronger than ever, and after releasing several CDs and LPs by them (“The exorcism“, “IX“, “Neurodeliri“) and managing the online sales of their official merch via scareystore.com it’s time for us to complete their 80s vinyl discography on FOAD adding these two supreme masterpieces of infernal morbidity! And as we also did with “IX” and “Neurodeliri” we prepared some limited highly collectable Japanese editions to celebrate the solid fan-base that the Bulls always had in the land of the rising sun. They will be soon available at the main underground record stores in Tokyo like our friends Record Boy and Record Shop Base and in very limited quantity also through our mailorder, but they are expected to sell out at the speed of light so as someone would suggest: RIDE HARD… ORDER FAST!!

Ok, more in detail about each LP:

BULLDOZER “The day of wrath” gatefold LP (F.O.A.D. 105)

The ground-breaking debut full length of Italy’s most respected Metal band of all times finally back to light on LP after more than 3 decades. Originally released in 1985 and never repressed on vinyl since then, here it comes in a new edition, specially remastered from 1st generation sources provided by the band and re-packaged in a thick gatefold sleeve with unseen photos and lyrics (in English + the original early drafts typed in Italian).

BULLDOZER‘s first album is a total classic of blackened evil Metal taking the rawest school of VENOM and MOTÖRHEAD to an unbelievably powerful and wicked sonic impact, bearing the malevolent flame of “Black Metal” and “Welcome to Hell” and injecting it with a renewed intensity. For anyone into old school Black Metal to not own this is a crime! This is for anyone that worships the early releases from Venom, Bathory and Sodom.. WELCOME DEATH!

Available in 3 different versions:

Die-hard Japanese edition on splatter clear/white/purple striped vinyl + OBI strip in Japanese, limited to 100 copies only

Limited oxblood red vinyl (150 copies)

Regular black vinyl

BULLDOZER “The final separation” gatefold LP (F.O.A.D. 106)

The 2nd full length of Italy’s Metal masters BULLDOZER!  Originally released in 1986 and never repressed on LP for 30 years, here it finally comes in a new edition specially remastered for vinyl directly from the studio reels provided by the band and re-packaged in a gatefold sleeve with unreleased photos and lyrics (scans of the original typed drafts). “The final separation” is a devastating follow-up to their cult debut “The day of wrath” that adds a strong Speed/Thrash Metal vibe to their well-tested Black Metal meets dirty R’n’R tinged aggression!

All in all, this is another good confirm of the goodness of the Bulldozer’s sound back in the 80s and it’s good to recommend it to the old school fans of this lethal black/speed combination. For all its length, the nastiness of the speed metal and the brutal influences of bands like VENOM and MOTÖRHEAD collide to create another high impact effort, in pure 80s style!! RIDE HARD… DIE FAST!!

Available in 3 different versions:

Die-hard Japanese edition on splatter orange/red striped vinyl + OBI strip in Japanese, limited to 100 copies only

Limited dark magenta vinyl (150 copies)

Regular black vinyl

Posted in Bulldozer, Releases on June 6th, 2014 by foadmaster2022

Two more classics fresh out of the oven are finally available on F.O.A.D. Records! BULLDOZER “IX” gatefold LP + CD and “Neurodeliri” have just reached our headquarters and are ready to thrash the world. All pre-orders have been shipped already and as expected, the ultra-limited die-hard edition on splatter vinyl with OBI strip in Japanese has been sold out in few days. The colored vinyl versions (blue and orange) are going fast too, so don’t miss the chance. If you are looking for the definitive, best sounding editions of these Italian Thrash Metal masterpieces look no further. Both transfered from the original reels and specially mastered for vinyl to reach the most faithful audiophile quality, reproducing with analog warmness and passion the True original sound of when they were conceived back in 1987 and 1988. Now more in detail about each release:

BULLDOZER “IX” – Gatefold LP + “director’s cut” bonus CD (F.O.A.D. 067)

Without a doubt the fastest and most destructive Bulldozer release to date, showing a band at the top of its compositional maturity. Phenomenal riffage combining their Blackened Thrash trademark with a Speed Metal vibe, rentless aggressive drums and the incredible vocal delivery of the evil lord AC Wild!!  Songs like “Desert!“, “Ilona the very best“, “Heaven’s jail” are absolute Thrash commandments! This is 100% guaranteed the best sounding version ever realized, assisted and approved by original band members. Served for the first time in a deluxe gatefold sleeve including a selection of rare, never-seen-before photos. And there’s more, a very special bonus: we have unearthed a completely forgotten reel featuring the band’s alternate mix discarded by Discomagic, the label that released the 1st edition back in the ’80s. As it sounded killer and highly dynamic we have added it as an extra slimcase CD included in the gatefold, this is a sort of “director’s cut” proposed by the band and totally unreleased until now!

– LIMITED EDITION ON ORANGE VINYL, 150 COPIES

– REGULAR BLACK VINYL

==================

BULLDOZER “Neurodeliri” gatefold LP (F.O.A.D. 068)

An incredible testament on the band’s merciless career through the ’80s. Carrying on the ominous assault of the previous ripper “IX“, “Neurodeliri” offers plenty of sharp riffs, fantastic lead-guitar work, bulldozing heavy drums and vocals that can best be compared to a hoarse and angry Lemmy. Plus some evil keyboards on some tracks adding a somewhat epic and mournful feeling to the music. Songs like “Minkions“, “We are Italians“, “You’ll be recalled” are unbeatable Thrash anthems! This is 100% guaranteed the best sounding version ever made, assisted and approved by original band members. Served for the first time in a deluxe gatefold sleeve including a selection of rare, never-seen-before photos!

– LIMITED EDITION ON BLUE VINYL, 150 COPIES

– REGULAR BLACK VINYL

BULLDOZER “The exorcism: demo ’84” & NAUSEA “World struggle: demos ’88/’92” digipack CD editions OUT NOW !!

Posted in Bulldozer, Nausea, Releases on May 14th, 2014 by foadmaster2022

After the great success of the first pressings on vinyl, F.O.A.D. Records is proud to satisfy the huge request and deliver these highly awaited deluxe digipack editions of two of its most acclaimed releases : BULLDOZERThe exorcism: demo ’84” and NAUSEAWorld struggle: demos ’88/’92”. The usual F.O.A.D. treatment is strong as ever, so expect booklets filled with photos and liner notes and an over the top audio mastering for the best sounding experience!

BULLDOZER – The Exorcism: demo 1984 + Fallen Angel 7″

The ultra-fucking-rare BULLDOZER Demotape 1984 with kult “Fallen angel” 7″ added as bonus. One of the most incredible findings in FOAD‘s hunting career: only 3 copies of this demo exist, one was sent to Roadrunner, one to King Diamond and one was recently exhumed in AC Wild’s basement and delivered to us for a top quality treatment. This is the recording that got Bulldozer signed to Roadrunner in 1984 and it sounds killer… different and rawer versions of classics ended on their debut slasher “The day of wrath”. Dark, demonical Black/Speed Metal from the most savage guts of Italy’s early 80s Metal inferno, for anyone that worships the early releases from Venom, Bathory and Possessed, plus the “Fallen angel” session adds that Motörhead touch making this an instant masterpiece of rawness and sheer power. Check out how AC Wild introduced the unreleased Demo recordings: “This tape was sent to Roadrunner and Roadrunner signed us in 1984. It was also submitted to King Diamond to ask if he was interested in being the producer of our album but he refused saying that this stuff sounded “too Punk”!! Comes in a stunning deluxe digipack CD with 11 page booklet filled with rare/unreleased photos, alternate artworks and liner-notes.

==================

NAUSEA – World struggle: demos 1988 / 1992 + bonus tracks

This is pure old school Grindcore and you can’t get closer to TERRORIZER‘s legendary album “World downfall“, in fact a third of the songs of Terrorizer’s “World downfall” were actually NAUSEA material, the previous band of vocalist Oscar Garcia. Born from the ashes of MAJESTY, they were not a side project of Terrorizer (as many think incorrectly), but a definite band, even surviving the latter’s break up in 1988. Oscar Garcia even used some Nausea songs to complete the posthumous Terrorizer record (‘Corporation Pull-in’, ‘Need to Live’, ‘Condemned System’ and the title track ‘World Downfall’ that was in origin a Majesty song)! On this new CD edition you will find the songs featured on the LP one,  so the band’s classic “Psychological conflict” EP (1990), the obscure and under-rated “Tumor” Demo (1992) and the entire split Demo with TERRORIZER (1988) bootlegged on vinyl by Headache Rec in the early 90s, plus six raw yet powerful sounding tunes from three different rehearsal recordings straight from 1987. These bonus tracks are exclusive for this digipack CD repress and will square the circle of the story of a band the helped to define a full genre! This is raw, doomy and corrosive death metal tinged GRIND with whirlwind blast beats and those incredible moshing riffs that became so influential when World Downfall gained its deserved success!

CRYPTIC SLAUGHTER “Life in grave + rarities” LP and BULLDOZER “The exorcism: Demo 1984” LP out now on FOAD Records!

Posted in Bulldozer, Cryptic Slaughter, Releases on June 26th, 2013 by foadmaster2022

Our hottest releases of the summer are finally available and ready to ship! Both of them have been displayed in first preview at FOAD‘s stall @ the Hellfest Open Air Festival in Clisson, France – so those who came to visit us there already got their limited die-hard copy. Now we are starting to ship all pre-orders, we will definitely catch all mailorder issues before leaving for the Obscene Extreme Festival next week, so no worries. NOTE: so far the previously announced summer schedule of our releases has been perfectly respected, anyway the last few things planned will be subjected to some changes: RUPTURE “Corrupture” gatefold LP + flexi disc will hopefully see its release party at OEF 2013, but it’s still very uncertain. TUMOR 4CD boxset and YACOPSAE “Discoregraphy” 2CD will come out later due to factory delays. Good news is that we’re doing our best to release NECRODEATH / SCHIZO “Mondocane” digipack CD in time for the Armageddon In The Park Festival in Campobasso, Italy on Sat. 3rd August 2013.  Ok, so back to our brand new CRYPTIC SLAUGHTER and BULLDOZER gems, here’s a detailed description on each of them:

CRYPTIC SLAUGHTER “Life in grave + rarities 1985/1988″ gatefold LP with 36 page zine/booklet

California’s thrashing Speed-core pioneers CRYPTIC SLAUGHTER team up with FOAD Records for an incredible vinyl treasure finally giving the right treatment to their legendary “Life in grave” Demotape 1985 and to an accurate selection of ultra-rare/unreleased recordings ranging from their 3 piece line-up era (1985) to the “Convicted”/”Money talks” days. This release has been in the works for months until we found the top sounding masters in existence and restored them for the best possible audiophile result when pressed on vinyl. Side A includes the band’s Demotape “Life in grave” adding 2 rehearsal tracks from the same period, one is a speeded up HELLHAMMER cover and one is a super-raw version of VENOM‘s “Welcome to hell”. Side B is all focused on the “Convicted”/”Money talks” 4 piece line-up and includes various live recordings and a good sounding rehearsal 1986. All songs here are performed even faster than how they were played on their classic albums. This is how Goodbadmusic.com introduced “Life in grave”: “1985 was a good year for music – bands like SLAUGHTER, NYC MAYHEM, VOOR, WEHRMACHT, HIRAX, DEATH, REPULSION and CRYPTIC SLAUGHTER amazed me and they still blow me away today! Especially this one here with its youthful urgency, its unpolished power and enthusiasm. And stilistically, this was very refreshing. Could you say whether this is more metal or more HC? Does it matter to you?” Being this one of the most important FOAD releases to date, we also dedicated the right passion to the packaging: a stunning reverse board gatefold sleeve and most of all a 36 PAGE zine/booklet stuffed with rare photos, interviews, zine excerpts and gig flyers. If you’re into any kind of fast music be it Thrash, Hardcore, Grind or PowerViolence, you are MAD if you miss this!!

Die-hard edition in “half n half” coloured vinyl (half black with yellow splattering / half red striped with black)

Regular black vinyl
