Whirlwind Noise/Hardcore mangel on FOAD!! ASOCIAL, SORE THROAT and THE GEROGERIGEGEGE up for preorders!!

Watch out! July is the month of our “OEF specials“, as all of you know – like every year, we’re attending the world’s craziest Extreme Musick festival introducing some new ear-damaging FOAD aberrations to the masses. And this time we totally outdid ourselves, as we’re going there to premiere 3 RELEASES, a triple attack of terrific Noisecore/Punk/Hardcore hostility. 3 names from Sweden, UK and Japan that truly represent the core and the roots of their countries’ underground extremity. Scandinavia’s raw Punk/Hardcore speed maniacs ASOCIAL with a double LP anthology tracing their early years’ discography, England’s most horrendous Drunk/Noise unit SORE THROAT with the longly awaited top-quality re-issue of their classic “Disgrace to the corpse of Sid” and last but not least, the incredible comeback of Japan’s Noise mastermind, THE GEROGERIGEGEGE, with his brand new full length “Moenai Hai“. These 3 ear-pummelling human sacrifices on vinyl are now available on preorder via scareystore.com (we’ll start to ship them on July 28th 2016). And if you’re attending the Obscene Extreme Festival in Trutnov, Czech Republic make sure to visit FOAD Records‘ tent because we’ll already have them available there, also in their limited die-hard versions!

Now more in detail about each release:

Asocial “Det Bittra Slutet +” double LP (F.O.A.D. 108)

Total Swedish Hardcore mangel at its best! Credited by heavy metal expert Daniel Ekeroth as the true inventors of the ‘blast-beat’ and the originators of grindcore (he defines ASOCIAL as ‘key to any survey of estreme music‘ in his book ‘Swedish Death Metal‘), ASOCIAL are a total cult among old European Hardcore Punk collectors. This monster anthology (55 SONGS) on double LP has been entirely compiled by the band using the original 1/4″ reels and 1st generation tapes, it has been edited and mastered by the band and even the whole layout has been put together by them using rare photos, flyers, cassette covers, liner notes and more!

It includes the legendary “Det bittra slutet” EP (1984) with its previous demo and unreleased tracks from the same session, the complete “Asocial Attack” cassette (the one that it’s assumed to feature some of the first blast beats ever landed on this planet!), an extra rehearsal from the same period, extra demo tracks 1983-1984 (among which the songs included on the “No war no more Vol. II” Comp. Tape) and 15 live tracks (the complete Split cassette with Distrust + 2 more songs recorded in Hedemora).  What to add?  If you like the fastest Scandinavian Hardcore/Punk and your daily drug is the insanely raw devastation of bands like Mob 47, Anti Cimex, The Shitlickers, Crude SS, Discard and the many “really fast” treasures that came out of the Swedish scene in the early ’80s, then this double LP is an absolute must for your collection!  Housed in a glossy UV laminated gatefold cover including a 8 page booklet!

Available in 2 different versions:

Die-hard edition in half grey half white (with black splattering) vinyl, limited to 100 copies

Regular edition on solid back vinyl, limited to 400 copies

Sore Throat “Disgrace to the corpse of Sid”  gatefold LP (F.O.A.D. 107)

One of the scariest, most terrific records in the history of music finally comes back to light in a deluxe FOAD-treatment reissue!  This 103 monstrosity (yes, it was 103 not 101 as written on the 1st pressing’s sticker) originally released in 1989 and surrounded by many controversies between the band and Earache Records, still stands as an unmatched assault of catastrophic Noisecore savagery. Call it Grind, Noise, Britcore or whatever… but if we talk of the most extreme shit ever released on a full length 12″, “Disgrace To The Corpse Of Sid” certainly stands among the top 5 of all times. As Rich mentions: “Lion Studios was hit with a barrage of Noise even more extreme than before, as we decided to up the ante, and go for over 100 tracks on the record.” Side A consists of 90 machine-gun bursts of apocalyptic dementia, while Side B slows down for 13 anguished Sludge/Punk anthems at times recalling the industrial mood of Saw Throat’s “Indestroy” LP.

This new edition has been entirely remastered for vinyl from the best sounding sources and re-packaged in a thick gatefold sleeve including lyrics and extensive liner notes by Rich “Militia“. And it adds a special outrageous surprise that won’t be revealed here, you have to see it!

Available in 2 different versions:

Die-hard edition in half black half yellow (with green splattering) vinyl, limited to 100 copies

Regular edition on solid back vinyl, limited to 400 copies

The Gerogerigegege “Moenai Hai” LP (F.O.A.D. 109)

Welcome the return of one of Japan’s highest expressions of deranged Noise ever conceived!! Over 30 years of extraordinary nonsense anti-musical craziness of the sickest kind, this is the first record released after a mysterious hiatus of 15 years and also the first full length LP in almost 2 decades. And as always, the genius of Juntaro Yamanouchi leaves us pleasantly thrilled…  “燃えない灰” (Moenai Hai) is an eclectic journey in obscurity that alternates Dark Ambient and Noise Rock to bursts of pure mindblowing sonic violence.  The second track “ゲロゲリゲゲゲ / “The Gerogerigegege” above all is the remake of an old song (written in 1985) and this newer version has Dr. Euro of the legendary Execute on drums, giving it a solid Punk feel.

It’s a crescendo with an ultra-noisy guitar turning increasingly saturated and deflagrating, recalling the weird sonic approach of previous works of cult like “Senzuri Power Up“. If you’re a follower of this unstoppable master of noise and you enjoy his previous aural crimes, this new effort will definitely make you wish for more!

Available in 2 different versions:

Die-hard edition in water clear vinyl with black and blue drops (limited to 150 copies)

S   O   L   D       O   U   T   !   !  !

Limited edition on ultra dark blue vinyl (250 copies)
