Well ahead of our planned release date, we’re here to announce that our February batch is out now. We decided to speed things up a bit because we’ll soon start giving previews and video-teasers of what’s boiling for March… Since we have a lot of surprises on the pipeline, we decided to get a head start. As usual, thanks to everyone for their support on this month of Californian grindcore, which has been a huge success! As expected, the diehard editions of NAUSEA “World struggle” 2xLP+7“ and PLUTOCRACY “Off the pigs” LP are completely sold out, only the black vinyl versions remain. We still have very few copies of the ltd. colored editions of NAUSEA ”Exile to confinement“ 2xLP and TERRORIZER ”Before the downfall” 2xLP+CD, so don’t sleep on it! Keep your eyes peeled because next week we’ll start announcing the next infernal round. March will be totally set ablaze by Japanese hardcore, with 5 gems of epic proportions!
Going into more detail about this month’s releases, here are the descriptions:
NAUSEA “World struggle – Extended edition” (Complete demos and rehearsals 1987-1992) gatefold double LP+7″ and double CD digipack (F.O.A.D. 388)
LOS ANGELES GRINDCORE at its finest! Expanded and upgraded version that collects all the band’s recordings from 1987 to 1992, with over 1 hour of extra material compared to the previous edition released in 2013. A lethal mix of old school grindcore, crust and touches of death metal with inevitable references to TERRORIZER’s legendary album “World Downfall”. Fact is that about a third of the songs on Terrorizer’s “World Downfall” were actually material from NAUSEA, singer Oscar Garcia’s previous (and current) band. This new version includes the cult split tape with TERRORIZER (1988), the “Psychological Conflict” EP (1990), the ultra-rare “Mind Dead” (demo 1990), “Tumor” (1992 demo), “Breed” demo (1992), various rehearsals from 1987 to 1990, and the “Live crime” tape (1991). 49 TRACKS!! This is raw, doomy and corrosive death metal tinged GRIND with whirlwind blast beats and those incredible moshing riffs that became so influential when World Downfall gained its deserved success. GATEFOLD LP with bonus 7″ (feat. two rare rehearsals 1987), completely revamped artwork and a 16-page booklet with flyers and excerpts from fanzines of the time.

PLUTOCRACY “Off the pigs” LP (F.O.A.D. 406)
Formed in 1988 in Redwood City, California, Plutocracy are hands down one of the most iconic and unique names in West Coast powerviolence. Multi-vocals, angular riffing, neck-breaking tempo changes, rap inserts, noise grafts. All perfectly stitched together on a top tier grinding PowerViolence backbone. Recorded in 2010 and originally released in a scarcely circulated pressing very sought after by collectors, “Off the Pigs” is the last studio effort from this legendary unit, a bloodcurdling scream of street life, anti-authoritarian mindset and unrest mentality. Plutocracy defy the strictest definitions, a one-of-a-kind band that is impossible to pigeonhole, standing in the same category as Spazz, Crom, Agents Of Satan and No Le$$. This new edition of “Off the Pigs” is accompanied by a very limited t-shirt.
