Believe it or not (we find it hard to believe ourselves!), we have just entered the 40th year of F.O.A.D., founded in 1986 in Turin as a xeroxed DIY fanzine by our friend Marco (RIP). The journey that has brought us to where we are today has been a real odyssey, with constant ups and downs, incredible highlights, and also a lot of suffering. In Italy, it’s not easy to run a niche-underground label like this, because everyone does everything possible to slow you down and hinder you in the worst possible ways. But with stubborness, fighting spirit, and a lot of passion and love for what we do, here we are, not only celebrating our 40th anniversary, but also our 400th release! We apologize for the delay caused by the stupid Xmas rush, every year the same bullshit. Unfortunately, what should have been our December releases were only delivered a few days ago (January), so we had to rush like crazy to catch up and ship all your pre-orders. As always, thank you so much to those who continue to support us, believe in what we do, and appreciate the quality of our work. Without your constant encouragement and help, we would not have come this far. All pre-orders have been shipped and tracking numbers updated.
These deliveries will not be very fast because even though they are on their way, they are still suffering from delays accumulated in the senseless end-of-year postal traffic. We kindly ask you to be patient. Please note that the diehard/splatter versions of both SORE THROAT titles are sold out, and the two diehard versions of GORE BEYOND NECROPSY are also rapidly selling out… be quick! So, as you can see, we have been forced to combine December and January under these three releases, skipping a month. We’ll be back with four new releases in February, and you can obviously expect an avalanche of kicks in the face, because it’ll be a month dedicated entirely to classic CALIFORNIAN GRINDCORE.

Emerging from the filthiest bowels of Japan’s extreme scene, Gore Beyond Necropsy erupted in a horrendous storm with some of the vilest and most degenareted noisegrind ever conceived by human mind. This monsterwork (282 tracks!) compiles all their non-album atrocities from 1991 to 2003, going from their industrial infused gore beginnings to the scatology obsessed fuzz inferno they are well known for.
“Raw filthy & harsh!!!” consists of 4 x LPs compiling all their demos, EPs, splits, compilation tracks and the super rare only recording by GBN’s side project, REPULTURID MANGEL.. plus 2 x CDs with live and rare studio tracks, plus the 7″ replica of the band’s last EP, the deranged psychedelic trip called “Wild & frantic! Rock’n’roll special!!!”. Packaged in a deluxe ultra-thick slipcase with massive poster and 54 PAGE BOOK collecting a shitload of rare photos, flyers, fanzine excerpts and scans of the original releases included.. One of the most frightening and terrifying records in music history finally returns to the spotlight in a deluxe F.O.A.D.-treatment reissue! This 103 song aberration (yes, it was 103 and not 101 as written on the sticker of the first pressing), originally released in 1989 and surrounded by much controversy between the band and Earache Records, remains to this day an unparalleled assault of catastrophic noisecore ferocity. Call it Noise, Grind, Britcore or whatever you like… but if we’re talking about the most extreme stuff ever released on a 12″, “Disgrace To The Corpse Of Sid” is definitely in the top 5 of all time. “Lion Studios was hit by an even more extreme barrage of noise than before, as we decided to raise the stakes and exceed 100 tracks on the record.” (Rich Militia) This new edition has been entirely remastered for vinyl from the best sound sources and repackaged in a thick cardboard gatefold sleeve featuring extensive liner notes by Rich Militia + OBI strip in Japanese and “Fuck Earache” A2 poster designed by the band.

Official reissue of one of the most influential and distinctive noisecore/punk classics of the late 80s UK hardcore scene. Brand new upgraded version housed in a gatefold sleeve with OBI strip in Japanese, liner notes by Rich Militia, lyrics and a replica of a 1988 promo-poster. 52 songs of cider-intoxicated aural butchery backed by a caustic sense of humor and wildly provocative lyrics. Quoting some reviews of the time: “SORE THROAT are the latest hell spawn of the ultracore thrash gurgling-gravel-in-a-sound-avalanche school of thought”. / “SORE THROAT are a music fan’s worst nightmare, 52 tracks that threaten to defy the very laws of nature, the ST sound is a thick, ugly mother that catches you like the swiftest blow to the stomach and leaves you feeling you’ve just gone 15 rounds with a runaway steamroller.” Originally released in 1988 after a few successful demos and the hyper-legendary “Death to capitalist Hardcore” 45 song EP, “Unhindered by talent” was the groundbreaking debut full length of UK’s most extreme noise unit, combining ultra-short detonating bursts with some solid 2-riffs/2-words HC ragers devoted to the Discharge/early Scandicore formula and also inevitably reminescent of DOOM, with whom ST shared 2 members.
