From June to today, we have released 14 x LPs (not counting those with extra editions on MC or CD) and participated with our massive booth in various festivals, including the usual megablasts at Obscene Extreme and Party San Open Air! Despite the frenzy of having to divide ourselves between so many fronts and the hellish temperatures at our workplace, here we are, more or less at the end of the season, happy to announce that the death/thrash/black metal attack we had announced is ready! SOLEMN “Extinction Asaru” LP, THE HORDE OF TORMENT “Distorted recollections – The demo anthology” gatefold 2xLP, PROFANCER / PROFANATION split LP+CD, XASTHUR “The black mist of blood ritual – Unreleased session 1993” LP, and XASTHUR “Hidden lore + Unreleased session 1993” CD are all out now on F.O.A.D. Records, and all pre-orders have been shipped on time. We still have a few copies of the splatter-marble-smoke vinyl variants, so hurry up and don’t miss out!
The bundle including all diehard editions will be available for a while longer, at our discretion. We will soon begin announcing next month’s titles… it will be a little different from usual. The clues we can give you are: 5 releases, 1x HC thrash crossover (late 80s), and 4x pure 80s heavy metal made in Japan, with names that will pleasantly surprise you! Stay tuned….

Complete discography of this doom-tinged old school Death Metal unit from New Jersey! Includes their demos 1993-1995 and 3 songs from pre-SOLEMN’s evil incarnation, called “IT”.
SOLEMN used to blend the dark sound of their area’s trademark death metal (think of INCANTATION) with doomish slowdowns and gorerific death/grind bursts. Their demos “Exiled” and “Asaru breathen” are true lost gems of cryptic, cavernous U.S. death metal in pure early 90’s tradition, that absolutely deserve to be rediscovered. Sourced from the band’s master tapes. LP with insert including scans of the original demos and a fanzine interview.

After being in the works for many years and suffering from too many poor-quality editions made without passion, here at last is the ultimate, manic reissue of these two pioneering hordes of death from Singapore’s underground hell!!
PROFANCER: official reissue of their 1990 demo “Rest without peace”. Formed in 1987, PROFANCER were inspired by Morbid Angel and classic Cogumelo bands offering the most raw and ferocious death thrashin’ madness imaginable… Their members went on to form the legendary XASTHUR!
PROFANATION: official reissue of their “In gloom” demo 1994. Black-tinged old school death metal, or as the band called it…. “Morbid Metal” – for this incredibly intense and brutal spawn of satanic darkness. Both demos were mastered from selected sources, the best in existence, provided by the bands. Bonus CD compiling both demos and 3 bonus tracks by Profancer, that clearly show their musical transition with embryonic versions of Xasthur songs.. Includes a 16-page booklet and extra insert, filled with rare photos, interviews, scans of the original demos, and a lot more!

From the deepest dungeons of Singapore’s hellish underground obscurity, here’s an unreleased session by XASTHUR, recorded 1 year after their cult studio demo “Hidden lore”. “The black mist of blood ritual” sees these Far East demons shift from their black-tinged death/thrash approach to total black metal darkness, clearly inspired by true Norwegian classics. 5 SONGS. Ripped from lost and found archival tapes unearthed from the band’s noisy crypts of malevolence and mastered at Toxic Basement Studio. Comes with 16 page booklet with photos, lyrics, bio and liner notes.

Complete discography of this demonic black/thrash army from Singapore, compiling their rare “Hidden lore” demo and the recently unearthed “The black mist of blood ritual” unreleased session 1993. Raw, sinister Black Metal that combines the old school Singaporean sound with influences that recall the ’80s South American Death/Thrash inferno! Their drummer Dagoth would later go on and join ABHORER! “Hidden lore” has been transferred straight from the master reels and the unreleased session 1993 comes from a lost&found tape from the band’s archives. 9 tracks of pure darkness and evil from the depths of Singahell’s nightmarish horrors, for fans of IMPIETY and ABHORER! Includes 20 page booklet with photos, flyers, scans of the original tapes and liner notes. Front cover artwork by Chris Moyen (originally supposed to be a t-shirt that never came out).
