We made it again, 4 releases in 1 month… level of insanity: pandemic! What we’re serving you on the plate with this “4 of the apocalypse” is a recipe all based on well tested atrocities if you’re familiar to the F.O.A.D.‘s line of sonic extremities: 2 noisy as fuck Japanese Hardcore slashers of the ’80s, an upgraded reissue of a RATOS DE PORAO classic (keeping the F.O.A.D.-RxDxPx legacy alive and strong) and a blood-thirsty Italian Hardcore gem from 1983 for a band that with no fear deserves the tag of of “CCM’s little brothers“, but way faster and rougher.

What are we talking about? GESSSuffer damage + live” LP+CD: a milestone of Kyushu Noise/Punk ugliness, HEDO1985: Memory of bloody hands” LP: Japan’s earliest blastbeat driven Hardcore/Thrash introducing the furious drumming tornado that is IronFist TatsushimaRATOS DE PORAOCarniceria tropical” LP: one of the most brutal releases from Brazil’s stainless Thrashcore forefathers spiced up with a bonus track and restyled packaging and WARDOGSIt’s time to fight!” LP, an underestimated short-fast-violent assault of pure early ’80s Italian Hardcore in the most savage and rabid form. As we said: 4 of the apocalypse! They’re all up for preorders, official release date… February 18th. As we always recommend: don’t sleep on the ltd. colored vinyl versions, they’ll go at the speed of light!

HEDO “1985: Memory of bloody hands” LP  (F.O.A.D. 189)

1985: ultrafast noisy Hardcore unearthing the blasting roots of the speed legend IRONFIST TATSUSHIMA later in CROW, DIE YOU BASTARD!, SCAMP, FIGHTBACK and many other bands that made history in Japanese HC and extreme underground… Their complete session from the super-rare split tape with The Spots, 23 songs of nonstop fast, catastrophic Ultracore-Thrash… the very first Japanese blast-beats ever recorded in Japan!

Mastered from the original tape, comes with an insert providing a detailed biographic note in Japanese and English written by Ironfist himself… Here’s a short excerpt to give you an idea: “..our aim was to do some noisy and fast Hardcore, and what we mostly had in mind back then was CONFUSE, because they were seen as the fastest band in Japan. But every time we practiced the level of speed of the songs was getting faster and faster, quickly surpassing CONFUSE“. Get ready to be blasted! Watch the trailer HERE

RATOS DE PORÃO “Feijoada acidente – International” LP and ATTOMICA “Disturbing the noise” Gatefold LP are out now!!

Posted in Attomica, Ratos De Porao, Releases on December 30th, 2015 by foadmaster2022

Here we are at the end of 2015, this year has been really insane for F.O.A.D. as we have brought to light more than 20 releases keeping a production standard of two releases monthly, that is really crazy for a DIY label run by just a handful of maniacs… And you’ll be happy to know that our schedule for 2016 is already fully booked and it’s even scarier than what you’ve seen so far! So to give the right coup the grace to 2015, we’re happy to say that our announced Brazilian thrashing combo for December is out now!

RATOS DE PORÃOFeijoada acidente – International” LP and ATTOMICADisturbing the noise” Gatefold LP are both released, we’re packing and shipping all pre-orders now. There’s still a few (less than 30) copies left of the die-hard version of RxDxPx on “feijoada suco gàstrico” splatter vinyl, so don’t miss the chance! More in detail about each release:

RATOS DE PORÃO “Feijoada acidente – International” LP

F.O.A.D. Records‘ legacy with RATOS DE PORÃO comes to a 5th head-kicking chapter… “Feijoada acidente? – International” for the first time on vinyl in a special audiophile version sounding better than ever!! RxDxPx are hands down the undisputed kings of South American Thrashcore/Punk delivering their fast and aggressive brand of Hardcore since 1981. On this album recorded in 1995 and originally released on CD by Roadrunner Records, they pay homage to those bands from all over the world that influenced their sound through their over 3 decade career, both in terms of raging speed and mind-blowing intensity. So the choice of bands covered on this monsterpiece ranges from the corrosive D-beat explosions of RawPunk maniacs like The SHITLICKERS, EU’S ARSE, ANTI CIMEX, KAAOS, CHAOTIC DISCHORD to some angry HC inferno when they revisit classics by BLACK FLAG, CIRCLE JERKS, POISON IDEA, MINOR THREAT, INFERNO to the 3-chord PunkRock energy of VIBRATORS, DEAD BOYS, THE SAINTS, REZILLOS and so on!

All this madness backed by an ultra solid powerful production that simply destroys! Housed in a solid, matte laminated jacket with 250 gr carton insert featuring photos and liner notes.

Available in 2 different versions:

Die-hard edition on “feijoada suco gástrico” special splatter vinyl strictly limited to 100 copies only

Solid black vinyl (400 copies)

==================

ATTOMICA “Disturbing the noise” gatefold LP

Brazilian Thrash artillery at its finest!! Originally released in 1991, “Disturbing the noise” was the band’s 3rd full length and probably the peak of aggression and tightness in their discography. This is hands down their best (and fastest) release according to FOAD team’s taste, that’s why we offered them to bring it back to light, as the original pressing on Discogs and Ebay is sold at ridiculously horrendous prices… $ 200 and surroundings! ATTOMICA‘s sonic offering on this album is a solid overdose of brutal no frills Thrash. Take the riffing and ballistic execution of SEPULTURA in their “Beneath the remains” era and mix it with the speed and ferocity of American masters like DEMOLITION HAMMER and you get a remote idea of the punching tornado these maniacs were able to deliver. No, it doesn’t have absurd technical showmenship or acrobatic soloing, but the truth is that there’s no need of these things, at least when you are playing only in order to crush the listeners’ skulls and necks.

These seven bullets will hit you quickly and mercilessly: if you are looking for some straightforward plain THRASH, you should surely check this out and have some simple headbanging fun. Housed in a tick high glossy gatefold cover with rare and unreleased photos!

Available in 2 different versions:

Die-hard edition on “radioactive sign” red/black vinyl strictly limited to 100 copies only

Solid black vinyl (400 copies)

RATOS DE PORÃO “Feijoada acidente? Brasil” LP and BROKEN BONES “Dead and gone” LP out now on F.O.A.D. Records!!

Posted in Broken Bones, Ratos De Porao, Releases on November 18th, 2014 by foadmaster2022

Another death-match has been launched by the tireless FOAD forces: RATOS DE PORÃOFeijoada acidente? Brasil” LP and BROKEN BONESDead and gone” LP are out now, released simultaneously. Most preorders have been shipped already, and the rest will be mailed in the next couple of days!

We are honoured to say that the die-hard splatter edition of “Feijoada acidente? Brasil” was completely sold out in its preorder phase, so from now on we only have black vinyl copies left for this LP. To anticipate yet another return to Italy of Sao Paulo’s Basement Rats for a special headlining show at our “Night Of The Speed Demons Pt. 7” Festival there is no better way than shooting out the 4th vinyl chapter in the FOAD meets Ratos legacy: after releasing “Descanse em paz“, “No money no English” and “Periferia 1982“, now it’s time for “Feijoada acidente? Brasil” appearing for the first time on vinyl in a special audiophile version sounding better than ever!! RxDxPx are hands down the undisputed kings of South American Thrashcore/Punk delivering their fast and aggressive brand of Hardcore since 1981. On this album recorded in 1995 and originally released on CD by Roadrunner Records they pay homage to the early Brazilian bands that together with them helped on shaping their country’s underground scene whose sound and attitude is so unique and original both when it comes to pure mind blowing Thrash or when it’s plain, energetic PunkRock!

So the choice of bands covered by RxDxPx on this monsterpiece ranges from the corrosive thrashing explosions of Crossover maniacs like LOBOTOMIA and PSYCHIC POSSESSOR, to the no frills Punk/Hardcore aggression of OLHO SECO, INOCENTES, FOGO CRUZADO, RESTOS DE NADA, HINO MORTAL to the 3-chord PunkRock of GAROTOS PODRES, CASCAVELLETES, PSYKOZE to even some early Ratos anthems revisited and spiced up with speed and rage, like “Nao podemos falar“, “A bomba“, “So pensa em matar“, all of them taken from the band’s very early repertory. All this madness backed by an ultra solid powerful production that simply destroys! And following the line of the latter Brazilian CD reissue of this album, we added a handful of bonus tracks that weren’t up on the original 1st pressing. Housed in a solid, matte laminated jacket with 250 gr cardboard insert!

– regular black vinyl (400 copies)

and then… another band that keeps the F.O.A.D.’s banner high and delivers another instant classic for all you punk thrashing maniacs: BROKEN BONES!! We are proud to introduce “Dead and gone“, the brand new studio release from these unstoppable UK veterans of metallic Punk/Hardcore fracturing jaws since 1983!

The current line-up consists of Bones (former and current DISCHARGE guitarist), Tezz (DISCHARGE, BATTALION OF SAINTS, UK SUBS, THE VILE), Dave (who also plays in DISCHARGE) and JJ on vocals. Basically, this is today’s DISCHARGE as JJ just took Rat’s place! Back in the d-beat stoneage, Bones had left Discharge to pursue a more metal direction, and he continues that path here with a well-focused fury. On these 4 new incendiary anthems, he throws down crusty thrash riffage over classic, mosh-friendly D-beat rhythms that barrel along with thunderous intent. As metallic as the music tends toward, JJ’s snarling, angry bark maintains the perfect crossover tension. This is some seriously devastating HC/Punk that pretty much schools every “Dis” band that’s tried to emulate the style since the originals laid down the template.

4 years after their blistering full length “Fuck you and all you stand forBROKEN BONES prove once again that they just get better (and more lethal) with age!! “Dead and gone” will be premiered in the UK on Saturday, 29th of November at “The Pipeline” in London on a killer show where BB will perform these new tracks live for the first time, so if you’re around there those days don’t miss this unique event organized by our friends at Dry Heave Records

Available in two different versions:

Limited white vinyl (only 100 copies) with the classic “I..O..U..” soldier skull silk-screened in black on the back

– Black vinyl (400 copies) with the classic “I..O..U..” soldier skull silk-screened in white on the back
