Records. Those who’ve been following us since the early years know that our label has always been very balanced with a choice that over time has always been somewhere in between metal in its multiple facets and hardcore punk. What we are about to announce is a month in 100% pure F.O.A.D. style, we are talking about 80s THRASH, sometimes with veers on hardcore, sometimes more on death metal. Once again we wanted to go overboard and there are no less than 7 releases in one round! And as always we cover countries that have a long tradition of collaboration with us: Canada, U.S.A. (New Jersey) and Denmark. Plus from Sweden two second pressings of LPs already released recently (Carnage and General Surgery) which having sold out in an instant we bring you again by popular demand. From Canada 3 gems of total thrash: OBLIVEON, D.B.C. and CREMAINS, from New Jersey a new pressing of SAVAGE DEATH (already released 15 years ago always on F.O.A.D., now with a new layout and an audio master freshly ripped from the reels, with an unreleased extra track). DANISH WITCHING EVIL METAL! After reissuing gems like CRIONIC and MENTAL DECAY, here’s another absolute classic from the holy grail of the Danish 80’s Metal scene… With their evil, haunting atmospheres – BATTALION were combining the best elements of early day thrash/speed metal with a slower, doomish vibe. You can hear influences drawing from Artillery, Slayer, Venom, Nasty Savage and Celtic Frost. In their short existence, they recorded two demotapes (1986-1987) both included in this collection, sourced and mastered from the original 1/4″ reels.

The rare debut demo of this cult death-thrashing horde from Quebec, Canada for the first time on vinyl and CD! Before consolidating their style into a more technical and progressive approach, OBLIVEON were delivering pure, savage-to-the-bone Death/Thrash in full speed and aggression! This F.O.A.D. reissue includes their self titled demotape sourced from the band’s archival master plus a good sounding live recording from the same era, showing the insane amount of speed and sonic violence these maniacs were able to unleash.. 13 SONGS!
