DANISH WITCHING EVIL METAL! After reissuing gems like CRIONIC and MENTAL DECAY, here’s another absolute classic from the holy grail of the Danish 80’s Metal scene… With their evil, haunting atmospheres – BATTALION were combining the best elements of early day thrash/speed metal with a slower, doomish vibe. You can hear influences drawing from Artillery, Slayer, Venom, Nasty Savage and Celtic Frost. In their short existence, they recorded two demotapes (1986-1987) both included in this collection, sourced and mastered from the original 1/4″ reels.
